2019 Kia Forte vs 2018 Hyundai Elantra
The Kia Forte 4-door sedan is newly redesigned for 2019, with a striking new exterior design from its standard Daytime Running Lights (DRL) to its LED tail lights (standard on S and EX). The 2019 Forte is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor and offers easier ingress and egress for its occupants. Kia added a wealth of standard convenience technologies, such as Forward Collision Warning* (FCW), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist-Car* (FCA-Car), Driver Attention Warning* (DAW), Lane Departure Warning* (LDW), and Lane Keeping Assist* (LKA). The EX also adds Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning* (RCCW).
Competing with the Forte is the Hyundai Elantra. Both brands strive for leading the classes they compete in, so drivers who recognize the Korean car may be torn between which to choose.

Advantages of the 2019 Forte.
When comparing the two models, performance and physical comfort are similar, but where Kia launches ahead is in technology and safety. Both vehicles have the same manufacturing location, it’s certain the models would share many attributes. Where they swerve is most interesting. The 2019 Kia Forte has greater ambitions than the Elantra, specifically in the traditional low-spec, low-feature models.
Although not all listed here, the 2019 Kia Forte is symbolic of Kia’s vigorous efforts to offer high-feature vehicles at lower price points. Basically, you get a luxury sedan in a base model. Kia's base model Forte, LX, offers advanced features and functionalities over the 2018 Hyundai Elantra’s base SE, including Bluetooth® compatibility, an available LCD driver information system, improved infotainment, and wireless charging and AUX port for playing any music from various sources.
Keep in mind, the 2018 Elantra keeps the Forte’s base engine across their trim level, only offering additional power in their optional Sport model, and forcing drivers into a 6-speed manual transmission. Lastly, Kia's safety model is a bonus in the 2019 Kia Forte. Kia's 2018 Forte earned the top distinction from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as a Top Safety Pick +. Regardless of the Hyundai Elantra’s Top Safety Pick designation, which surpassed many competitors, it doesn’t provide the peace of mind that either of the 2018 or 2019 Kia Forte does!
The new 2019 Kia Forte is a formidable model offering full-size luxury features at a compact price. Thest drive a Kia today!
