Labor Day Events in the Bucks County Area
As summer comes to an end, we have one last chance to take in the nice weather and send summer off in the right way, and what better way to do that then participating in some local Labor Day events in the Bucks county area.
Bucks County Labor Day BBQ in Langhorne, PA
This year Bucks County is having their annual Labor Day BBQ partnered with Sesame Place on September 3rd and 4th starting at 5:00 PM at Sesame Place Big Bird’s Riverside Pavilion located at 100 Sesame road Langhorne, PA 19047. Bring the little ones and enjoy traditional BBQ in an open air setting with Labor Day fireworks starting at 8:25 PM. The cost is $29 for adults, $9 for children, and 23 months and under get in free. Reservations are required and cost is in addition to park admission.
If the younger crowd isn’t your style, you can still enjoy some great BBQ all across the county including Bitter Bob’s in New Hope, Oink Johnson’s Southern BBQ in Pipersville, or Big Bites BBQ right here in Quakertown!
Bucks County Labor Day Duathlon
This two mile run, 10 mile bike, then another two mile run promises to be challenging enough for experienced athletes yet simple enough to be taken on by a new racer. Held on September 4th starting at 7:00 AM, this duathlon is held in high regards as it’s known for its beautiful scenic hills and picturesque views of the river. Post-registration is still available at www.buckscountyduathalon.org for $80 and shirts are available while supplies last.
Polish-American Family Festival and County Fair
Celebrating its 51st year, the Polish-American Family Festival and County Fair promises to have something for everyone! With world-class entertainment, fun attractions, delicious Polish and American food, and a variety of shopping there’s no way you can be bored. Held all Labor Day weekend, $12 dollars gets you access to the grounds and includes rides and admission to the stage shows.
