What’s new for the 2016 Kia Soul?
If you’ve been checking out the new Kia Soul and wondering what has changed from the 2015 model, we’ve got good news and bad news for you. The bad news first. Almost nothing has changed for this year (well, a few things we’ll mention later, but still). So, what’s the good news? If you can find a new 2015 Kia Soul, you’ll get a great deal on it and it will be the same as a 2016! New Kia Soul options for 2016
There are SOME new features for the 2016 Kia Soul, but they’re optional extras. For example, you’ll get a bit more standard equipment with the uplevel trims, and some of the optional packages have been tweaked or renamed. Nothing major. One new option that IS major is the Designer Collection package. This adds unique 18-inch wheels, two-tone paint job and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Another relatively major upgrade is that the Premium package for the Soul! (Exclaim) now has awesome safety features like forward collision warning and lane departure warning.

What hasn’t changed for 2016?
Unchanged for this year is the Soul’s funky style and boxy shape. It’s the only car that gives you the versatility of the popular crossovers but with a unique personality all its own. Because it’s a big box on wheels, you get lots of cargo space and passengers have more than enough head room and leg room. Few cars can match it for fun AND practicality at the same time.
And the base trim level is still well-equipped. We’ll remind you what it includes in case you forgot from last year: 16-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, full power accessories, driver-selectable steering settings, air-conditioning, height-adjustable driver’s seat, cloth upholstery, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 60/40 split folding rear seats, Bluetooth phone and music connectivity, satellite radio, and a USB port and auxiliary audio jack.
